  A Late Triassic Carnivore, despite its Theropod like appearance, it's not a Dinosaur. Instead, it's a Rauisuchian; a Theropod like Archosaur. It is arguably the most popular non Dinosaur in the park. Its enclosure is rectangular with lots of Jungle and a swamp. Originally when the first Postosuchus was cloned, rangers thought they would be dealing with a slow moving quadruped. But it turned out to be semi-quadrepedal, with the ability to move quickly on its hind legs. Because of this, one keeper lost his life. Currently one (a male) lives on Isla Nublar with none in the wild. It is quite a noisy animal, making very low hisses and roaring as if its proclaiming its territory. It stays away from the deeper parts of the water and doesn't swim unless it's needed. This allowed another Triassic animal; Rutiodon, to live in its enclosure. It is an ambush hunter. It stalks its prey on all fours, similar to that of a big cat, but when time comes to strike, it takes off on its hind limbs at speeds of around 35 kph. It bites at the prey's neck to kill it, and then rips the meat off with its Theropod like teeth. It has periods of inactivity where it sleeps under cover, sometimes for days.
